Finally we announce the launch of ‘Paramedico’, the tales of my days riding on ambulances around the world, beginning in 1997 when I was posted to the bush in Australia and ending in the madness of Mexico City.
Getting away from the stuffy format of some traditional book launches, we’re adding a bit of spice with special guest performers who are sure to cause a giggle. I’ll be reading some extracts, and guests will also be entertained by the guru of medical developments in Australian ambulance services, Dr. Jason Bendall, who will officially launch the book.
Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends. Lure them with promises of being able to buy ‘Paramedico’ at a special book launch price and having it autographed. Not that my messy scrawl in the front of your book will increase its value anytime soon!

Great work – glad to see the light shining on these countries for once. I used to tell my students that if you really wanted to challenge your training and skills every day, leave the U.S. I think that could go for all healthcare professionals – bells and whistles and hi-tech equipment dont make one a professional.
Hats off to you
